We take a trip to Madrid in sunny Spain to meet our next LCM featured artists the soulful pop Spanish five piece band MORGAN. The band started in mid-2012 when Carolina "Nina" de Juan (piano, vocals) first showed her songs to Paco López (guitar and vocals) and Ekain Elorza (drums). Although it was not until the end of 2015, when they decide to enter the studio to record their first album. As a great introduction our LCM #SongOfTheDay is the funky RnB disco flavoured 'Another Road (Gettin' Ready) taken from their second album 'Air'

For their first album 'North' they recorded in La Cabana in Madrid with the help of producer José Nortés (Ariel Rot, Quique González) which was released in February 2016. The album also featured two new band members Ovejero Alexander (bass) and David Schulthess (Keys).

Since then MORGAN have not stopped playing. During 2016 they played 30 concerts both in different cities across the peninsula including festivals Mad Cool, Sonorama, Giant and Actual. Also crossing for the Atlantic for the first time to play two dates in Brazil, together with the Brazilian Tulipa Ruiz (winner of a Latin Grammy that same year) and closing the year accompanying Leiva at the Palacio de los Deportes concert. In 2017 the band continued their great progress touring around the country and playing nearly 100 concerts.

In March of 2018 they returned with their second album, 'Air', which showcased MORGAN's great sound. It was recorded and produced end of 2017/early 2018 by José Nortes in Madrid.
