LCM Song Of The Day: ‘Redesigning Women’ - The Highwomen

We shared some of the details of this great new collaboration project a couple of months ago. It stars some of the best singer-songwriters in US Country and Americana, The Highwomen feature LCM favourites Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires. The wonderful ‘Redesigning Women’ is the first single taken from their self titled debut album available on September 6th via Low Country Sound / Elektra Records. The album is produced by Dave Cobb and features lots of special guests.

The video directed by Elizabeth Olmstead features a host of special guests including Wynonna Judd, Kassi Ashton (Meisenheimer) Raelynn, Cassadee Pope, Lauren Alaina, Natalie Stavall, Hailey Whitters, Anna Vaus, Catie Offerman, Tanya Tucker, CAM, Lily Hyatt and Erin Rae

The song is a “9-to-5” for a new generation. It describes the reality of being a woman in today’s world, both the difficult and the miraculous. It also comes with a great video that shows the strength and honesty you hear in the song.
